Gymstars tumble to win
The tumbling gymnasts of Gymstars Gymnastics recently took part in the Limpopo Gymnastics Competition in Bele-Bela where they won several podium positions.
POLOKWANE – Gymstars head coach, Lelanie Logtenberg, said they were all extremely proud of the gymnasts.
“All the tumblers did exceptionally well taking podium positions and qualifying to compete at either the North Zone South African Competition, where level one and two gymnasts compete, or at the South African Games in Cape Town where the senior gymnasts will compete,” she said.
The results for the competition:
• Level two, age eight – AJ Galloway won overall second place.
• Level two, age nine – Jordan Lucas won overall first place.
• Level three, age eight – Andru de Beer won overall first place.
• Level three, age 11 – Zoë Galloway won overall first place.
• Level three, age 12 – Wihan Logtenberg won overall first place.
• Level three, age 13 – Aljay Lucas won overall first place while JC Logtenberg won overall second place.
• Level five, age 15 and over – Wessel Vorster won overall first place.
Lelanie said she is excited to see the Gymstar gymnasts compete at national level.
