The second Flying Fish Beach Volleyball Tournament for the 2016/17 season took place at the University of Limpopo recently.

The Mens section winners Leo Williams (Gold Medal winner), Kakata Maponyane(University of Limpopo representative) , Grant Goldschmidt (Gold Medal winner) and Rendani Tshivhula (MC).

POLOKWANE – Both men’s and ladies’ Pretoria champions pulled off back-to-back consecutive tournament victories.

Martina Bonnerova and Palesa Masinga outclassed the former number one seeded team in South Africa, Dieke Hessels and Lianne Vink, in the women’s final.

This tournament also featured two male teams from Zimbabwe.

The team of Collin Peter and Deardricks Water made the trip to Limpopo along with the young combination of Gift Mawisire and Gift Chirebvu to compete in the tournament.

A day of fun-filled action ensued to the delight of all spectators.
