It is all systems go for the 40th annual Oktoberfest that is scheduled for Saturday evening at Bolivia Estate and Die Ottertaller XXL Oompah Band from Germany arrived in the city on Sunday en route to the Kruger National Park as guests of the Rotary Club of Pietersburg 100.
According to the President of the club, Horst Meyer, the festival is one of the club’s major fundraising events for the year. “We are strongly supported by the business community and residents of the city and look forward to an evening of fun and entertainment by a great band,” Meyer says.
There are still some tickets available for tables at R2 800 for 10 persons or single tickets at long tables at R280 per person that includes a traditional German meal and complimentary beer mug. Call Bettina Rabiega on 015 295 6154 or Meyer on 072 616 3339 for tickets.
