POLOKWANE – Streaming services such as Showmax and Netflix have made it possible to watch your favourite series or movies on demand, whenever you want to.

This however makes it even more difficult to decide between the magnitude of options available – that’s where we come in.

Showmax:

Series: Robot Chicken

Adult Swim’s off-the-wall, stop-motion comedy series Robot Chicken is back for Season 11 – filled with more hilarious parodies and insane characters and personalities from Joe Exotic to Peppa Pig.

Movie: The Nest

Jude Law and Carrie Coon (Gone Girl) star in this psychological drama, which sees a successful entrepreneur’s idyllic life begin to unravel after he moves his American family to a grand old English country manor.

For the kids: Scoob! 

Scooby-Doo and the gang are back in the animated adventure comedy movie, Scoob!, where they must face their most challenging mystery ever: a plot to unleash the ghost dog Cerberus upon the world. As they race to stop this dogpocalypse, the gang discovers that Scooby has an epic destiny greater than anyone imagined.

Netflix:

Series: Good Girls

Three suburban moms orchestrate a local grocery store heist to escape financial ruin and establish independence — together.

Movie: Schumacher

Through exclusive interviews and archival footage, this documentary traces an intimate portrait of seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher.

For the kids: Octonauts: Above & Beyond

The Octonauts expand their exploration beyond the sea — and onto land! With new rides and new friends, they’ll protect any habitats and animals at risk.
