Clearwater distances itself from assaulted man (25)
Clearwater Mall refused to comment on the assault incident of Monday 15 July.

It seems that Clearwater Mall’s security management wants to distance the Mall from an assault incident that took place on Monday 15 July.
This follows eyewitnesses alleging that a man (25) tried to rob a store in the Mall, later fleeing the scene and allegedly being assaulted on Hendrik Potgieter Road near the Christiaan de Wet intersection.
According to ER24 reports, the man sustained critical head injuries and was airlifted to a nearby medical facility.
“No comment,” was the only commentary that the Record got from Clearwater Mall security manager Gareth Cairns.
JMPD spokesperson Wayne Minnaar was not aware of the situation when the Record spoke to him for comment.
