Decked in decorations, the event certainly brought the Christmas cheer, much to the delight of shoppers. Maike Vermaak said, “I like it here. We live close by so I am always here. It is very convenient and the Christmas market definitely has more stallholders.”

The market was an opportunity for small business owners to showcase their products and attract new customers; and perhaps for residents to get a head start on their Christmas shopping while supporting local businesses.
