Artists exhibit at Cradlestone

All kinds of art works could be enjoyed at the exhibit

Artworks large and print size were displayed along the second floor at Cradestone Mall on November 27 for a one of a kind art exhibit. The exhibit boasted some of the work of organiser and curator, Susan Allin, as well as those of Michelle Gates, Kim Paxton, Zenon Rozycki and Johan Coetzer, among others.

Michelle shared her excitement at exhibiting again. “I feel really confident in my work this time around. I learned so much from the other artists the last time I was here. From displaying to framing, I have definitely grown and improved. I framed all the paintings myself.”

Susan said several shoppers had shown interest in some of the paintings and were keen to see more artworks. “The last time we were here, we had a few interested eyes but the sales came on Sunday. We’ve had a few people coming by and looking at the artworks so perhaps the sales will be coming on the Sunday again.” She shared that she plans on having the exhibit on a regular basis.

The mall was the perfect setting for the two-day event because it attracted an array of buyers and of course, it was the end of the month.
