Here’s your chance to make a foster child smile

Child Welfare South Africa is hoping to once again bring the joy and wonder of Christmas to their foster children.
They will be hosting their annual Christmas Function for the little ones on Friday, December 10. According to Estelle Odendaal from Roodepoort Child Welfare, each child will receive a gift and a meal while playing games and having fun.
“Father Christmas will also be present to hand out the gifts to the children. They will be targeting children between the ages of six and 14 years,” she said.
However, Estelle continued, they won’t be able to do it without the community’s help.
“The staff of Child Welfare South Africa Roodepoort is asking the community to assist with suitable gifts, snacks, cold drink and food for the day. This joyous occasion will not be possible without the kind-hearted assistance of the community,” she concluded.
