Roodepoort’s Sector 3 Crime Forum has announced its upcoming annual general meeting (AGM), to be held this Saturday at 10:00.
According to public relations officer James Clarke, the Sector 3 committee members have reached the end of their terms as serving members, meaning a new committee needs to be appointed.
“We invite residents from Horison, Horizon View, Horison Extension, Ontdekkerspark and Tornado Park who would be interested in serving on the committee to please come forward and put their names up for nominations,” he says.
The Sector Crime Forum is a sub-sector of the Roodepoort Community Police Forum (CPF), dealing with specific neighbourhoods within the police station’s policing precinct, bridging the gap between residents, local security companies, and the police.
The AGM will take place at the NG church, corner of Andries Bruyn and Mouton Street, in Horison.
