Police spread a little kindness as they partner with NGO to feed the needy

VEREENIGING. – Members of the Vereeniging SAPS today partnered with an NGO from Roshnee to feed 100 needy people in the Vereeniging CBD.

Police spokesperson Captain Fikile Funda said that the gesture from the organisation which does not wish to be mentioned goes a very long way.

“This is a wonderful gesture for the benefit of our needy people. The NGO approached us with the idea of feeding people in need and we were more than happy to assist,” Funda added that many were in a tight spot because there are currently no shops open.”
