Sharpeville murder case moved to Palmridge High Court

Bango is accused of murdering his girlfriend Mantwa James (44)  and subsequently burying her body in a backyard shallow grave.

VEREENIGING. – The murder case against Thulani Bango (34) who was arrested in January has been moved to the Palmridge High Court in Katlehong..

Bango appeared at the Vereeniging Magistrate Court on Monday where the matter was postponed to August 16-20.

Bango is accused of murdering his girlfriend Mantwa James (44)  and subsequently burying her body in a backyard shallow grave.

He reportedly kept her body wrapped in a blanket on the couch in the house they lived in for two days before burying her.

Thulani Bango (34) remains in custody after he was chrged with the brutal murder of his girlfriend Mantwa James.

Mantwa’s body was exhumed by the SAPS after her family confronted Bango on her whereabouts, subsequent to  trying to contact her for days with no success.

Bango previously abandoned his bail application. He remains in custody.
