Kyokushin Karate Club hosted grading

This was a great achievement for the karate students with their hard work and commitment being rewarded.

SEBOKENG.- The Kyokushin Karate Club held graduations for their fighters in Zone 3, Sebokeng next to Ekujuleni Primary School last Saturday.

The fighters were graded from white belt to blue belt, from yellow belt to green belt, and from orange belt to brown belt. This grading ceremony was conducted by the veteran, Sensei Shihan Peter Thage, and other instructors. Speaking to Sedibeng Ster Sport, Kyokushin Karate Club, Sensei Papi Mokoena said twenty-two students were graded on the day.

“I want to congratulate all the students who were graded to the next level and I have no doubt this will motivate other students to work hard. I want to thank the parents who came to support this event and I’m grateful for their support. I also want to take this opportunity to thank our instructors, Sensei Thomas Vena, Sensei Isaac Mkhamba, Sensei Teboho Radebe, Sensei Vuyane Magugu, and our headmaster, Shihan Peter Thage,” Mokoena said.
