A dream come true at OK Liquor Porto!
Vaal Triangle couple wins a brand new Nissan NP200 Double Cab bakkie worth R600 000 in Mzansi Competition!
VANDERBIJLPARK. – When Leon and Desiré Kruger of Vaalpark recently received a phone call to inform them they had won a brand new Nissan NP200 bakkie in an OK Liquor competition, they thought it was a hoax.
They became cautiously optimistic when they later saw on the app “True Caller” that the call indeed came from OK’s head office and that Nissan’s HQ in Cape Town was also trying to reach them. Eventually they realized it was true: They were the winners of a fiery red Navara Double Cab bakkie worth about R600 000 in OK Liquor’s Mzansi Competition!
The national competition ran from April 24 to July 7 and three Nissan NP200 bakkies stood to be won. Leon remembered that they were on their way to a camping weekend on April 26 when he made a quick stop at OK Liquor Porto in Carter Street, Vanderbijlpark, to buy six Castle Lights for the weekend. When paying, he swiped his “Count On” card and forgot all about the transaction – until last week when he received the news that he had won the bakkie.
“It still feels like a dream. Wonderful things like these usually only happen to other people,” says an elated Desiré. “OK Liquor Porto will definitely see us again!”
The couple are avid campers and can’t wait to drive their much appreciated new vehicle to their next camping destination.
