Bursary boost for Emfuleni’s youth

ELM together with MAXPROF and EST Sourcing, handed over life-changing bursaries.

VANDERBIJLPARK – Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) in partnership with MAXPROF and EST Sourcing, hosted a Bursary Award Ceremony that is set to change the lives of local youth.

The ceremony marked a powerful milestone for deserving students, opening doors to higher education and reaffirming Emfuleni’s commitment to building a brighter future through learning and opportunity.

Leading the proceedings was Executive Mayor Sipho Radebe, joined by MMC for Shared Services Mpho Serapelo, MMC for Social Development Makgala Lesaoana, Bursary Board Member Serogane Tsotetsi, and Renusha Randas, representing MAXPROF and EST Sourcing.

Addressing attendees, Radebe described education as the foundation of a strong and resilient municipality.

“Education is the cornerstone of a resilient Emfuleni. This bursary handover reflects our shared investment in youth and our belief that strong public-private partnerships can turn dreams into achievement. I am proud of the collaboration with MAXPROF and EST Sourcing, and I look forward to seeing these scholars thrive and give back to our community,” said Radebe.
