Itireleng Task Team help a disabled woman

BOIPATONG.- The Itireleng Task Team in conjunction with some of the stakeholders helped a disabled woman in Winnies Park, Boipatong by the name of Manor Ramaele.
The Tasks Team with the help of Thuli Nteo (Lekoa FM), Silas Zimu and Jones Radebe both from Emfuleni Local Municipality (ELM) came together build a ramp on the door step of this woman’s house for her not struggle when going out with her wheelchair.
Speaking to Sedibeng Ster, Itireleng Task Team representative, Parks Mofokeng said they were touched by this woman’s living conditions and they approached the above mentioned stakeholders to help to build a wheelchair ramp for her.

“When we visited this family we were welcomed by ugly scenes because were told that it is difficult for her going outside to the toilet. We were told that by the time she reaches a toilet outside she would have mess up herself. This is because her door didn’t have a wheelchair ramp for her to drive outside. As the Itireleng Task Team we want to take this opportunity to thank those who responded positively when we asked for assistance. We want to thank them from for their generosity,” he said.
Mofokeng tolde Sedibeng Ster that their commitment is not only to clean Boipatong but also to help the elderly people within their community by cleaning their yards and houses.
