Merlewood Primary shares love for storytelling

It was an enjoyable day for all.

At Merlewood Primary School, World Read Aloud Day, was celebrated with enthusiasm and creativity.
To spread awareness, learners and teachers collaborated to create colourful posters adorned with inspiring quotes about the joys of reading aloud. These posters adorned the corridors, catching the attention of all and encouraging them to participate.

In classrooms, teachers took the lead in reading aloud to their learners who were then given the opportunity to take the stage and read aloud themselves.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement and a shared love for storytelling, as everyone came together, to celebrate the power of reading aloud.
