Car club names show beneficiaries
The two secondary beneficiaries are the Alexandra Homes for the Aged in Scottburgh and Scottburgh High School.

THE Scottburgh Classic Car Club (SCCC) has named the beneficiaries for this year’s classic car show to be held on 20 July at the Scottburgh Country Club.
The two primary beneficiaries are The Society of StVincent de Paul, which provides relief to the poor and needy within our community, and the Pennington People’s Community Centre which is an upliftment centre, teaching skills to the unemployed so that they can generate an income.
The two secondary beneficiaries are the Alexandra Homes for the Aged in Scottburgh and Scottburgh High School.
The SCCC’s Peter Fielding said the club was delighted to be able to put the proceeds from the show back into the local community to benefit a wide variety of organisations in need. He also thanked the Rising Sun, a Caxton associated newspaper, for their continued support by sponsoring the show for the fourth year running.
The Blue Marlin Hotel, the recommended hotel for the show, has given a special accommodation offer yet again for enthusiasts coming from far afield. Since last year, all the public rooms and pool area have been totally renovated, thus providing a special experience for guests.
