Don’t reward acts of terror

To this day I will always feel for those who were affected by the blast on that day.

EDITOR – This account may seem strange to some people.

I was leaving my home with my daughter who was a baby at the time.

Keys in hand, I was on my way to my car when God spoke to me and told me to go back in the house and not go to Amanzimtoti. I thought it was a very odd thing to say and almost ignored His advice. I was hesitant but knew that God was always right so I reluctantly re-entered my home. God gave no explanation but not long afterwards, I could not believe the news report of the bomb explosion at what was then Sanlam Centre.

I worked out my travel distance and if I had not listened to spirit voice, I would have been walking down the ramp right near the bomb so close in fact that both mother and baby would not have been alive today.

To this day I will always feel for those who were affected by the blast on that day. To name a road after a callous coward is a huge insult to locals.

There is an international war going on against terrorists and yet this country sees fit to reward acts of terror.
