Two television sets were stolen during a house break-in in Lotus Park on Thursday, 6 August.
PT Alarms Response Unit responded after reports were received for assistance.
Spokesperson of the organisation, Dhevan Govindasamy said, “It is alleged that two suspects jumped over the wall and entered the property where they broke the back gate and door and gained entry into the house. There were no occupants in the house. The suspects fled with two television sets in the Avanza.”
Reports of an Avanza lurking in the area have been received previously where women were stopped and almost cornered but managed to get away. Residents are urged to be vigilant and report any sightings of an Avanza loitering in the area to the police or your security service provider.
“Please be discreet and attempt to attain a registration number if possible. Stay safe and do not confront the occupants of the vehicle if spotted,” added Govindasamy.
