Join Toti’s first Walk for Freedom

Thousands of people will be taking action in hundreds of cities worldwide, to raise awareness of human trafficking.

THERE will be a Walk for Freedom on October 15, from 09:00 at the Splash parking lot on Beach Road, to raise awareness about human trafficking.

On October 15, people in Amanzimtoti and hundreds of cities around the world will join the A21Walk for Freedom against human trafficking, which is described as modern-day slavery.

The Amanzimtoti Community Police Forum (CPF) is proud to be co-hosting the 2.5km silent walk in partnership with local counter-human-trafficking organisation, Sparrow Trust.

Pre-register online or on the day, for free. Dress code is black T-shirts. The global A21 T-shirts will also be available for purchase on the day for R100.

All proceeds go to the fight against human trafficking. “The Amanzimtoti CPF invites all members of the public to join the silent walk, where, one step at a time, we move to ensure the freedom, dignity, and rights of every resident in our community,” said Amanzimtoti CPF public relations officer Estelle van Eeden.
