The community responded well to the initiative and the donated food was given to members of the management team of Elders Haven in Amanzimtoti at the club’s regular members meeting on Monday, November 4.

Kingsburgh Lion’s President Moira Rigby said she appreciated the ongoing support of the community when the Kingsburgh Lions Club holds monthly food donation drives outside Checkers.

“I would like to thank everyone who donated for their generosity. Charities like Elders Haven are finding things very tough so we are delighted to be able to pass on the collection to them,” said Rigby.
