Metro Police service delivery campaign a success

A law enforcement and service delivery campaign by the Metro Police in Amanzimtoti and surrounding areas has yielded positive results.

AN ongoing service delivery campaign by Durban Metro Police Service (DMPS), which focuses on Amanzimtoti, Isipingo, Adams Mission, KwaMakhutha, eZimbokodweni and surrounding areas, has been making a significant impact.

According to Colonel Victor Zungu, spokesperson for the Durban Metro Police, officers have been collaborating with municipal teams to enhance infrastructure, conduct business compliance inspections and address the persistent issues of water and electricity, sanitation and potholes.

“As part of law enforcement efforts, several individuals were arrested for being in the country without the necessary permits. DMPS remains committed to maintaining law and order and ensuring service delivery to all citizens of eThekwini. The service delivery campaigns will continue in all areas within the boundaries of eThekwini Municipality,” he said.
