“It is alleged that a gang had plans to pounce on unsuspecting shop owners and individuals and rob them. The suspects attempted to employ their plan on Pardy Road, and when they struck, the victims began screaming, and they fled. One of the suspects ran into the crowded taxi rank, and taxi drivers helped block him, and he was apprehended by our units,” said Govindsamy.
