Plumbers work to restore water supply in Isipingo

Although no timeline has been given, water is expected to be back in the taps later today.

REPAIRS are ongoing in Isipingo to restore water supply to residents and businesses that either lost supply or are experiencing low pressure.

Ward 90 councillor, Shad Nowbuth, said the problem was experienced in Isipingo Rail and Isipingo Hills areas.

“Plumbers are attending to a burst in Fiddlewood Drive in Isipingo Hills. Excavation has been completed, and the damaged pipe has been exposed. A length of new pipe will be fitted, and thereafter, the line will be charged,” said Nowbuth.

Although no timeline has been given, water is expected to be back in the taps later today (March 23).
