Help Amanzimtoti SPCA restock its thrift shops

One of the biggest ways the non-profit organisation raises funds is by selling pre-loved, good quality items at its thrift shops.

THE Amanzimtoti SPCA is appealing for donations of unwanted items that can be donated to one of its three thrift shops to help raise funds for the animals in its care.

The SPCA’s Michelle Hannan said, “We know times are tough for everyone. One of our biggest ways of raising funds is by selling pre-loved good quality items at our charity shops. At the moment our containers are empty. Consider donating items you no longer need to one of our shops. This would be much appreciated,” she said, adding that all donations make a huge difference to so many animals’ lives.

Its wish list items are: bric-a-brac, household goods, garden utensils/ furniture, kitchenware, pots/cutlery, linen, bathroom ware, clothing, shoes, handbags, camping equipment, garage tools, complete furniture, books, toys/ puzzles and DVDs, LPs or CDs.

Donations can be dropped off at one of its three shops; at the premises at 1 Nyati Road, Athlone Park, at 115 Kingsway Road, Warner Beach or at 3 Scott Street, Scottburgh.

Alternatively, donations can be made at the following banking details: Amanzimtoti SPCA, FNB, current account number: 62807184552, branch code: 220127.
