Mandela’s legacy kept alive for 67 minutes in Amanzimtoti

Nelson Mandela International Day was designated by the South African government and the United Nations as a day of being of service to one's community for at least 67 minutes.

SEVERAL Mandela International Day activities took place around Amanzimtoti and beyond on July 18 to mark Nelson Mandela’s birthday.

The day was designated by the South African government and the United Nations as a day of being of service to one’s community for at least 67 minutes. The 67 minutes represent the 67 years Mandela fought for justice.
