International Scout Scarf Day celebrated at Kamalinee Primary
A scout shared his escapades and adventure stories with his fellow learners at Kamalinee Primary School for International Scout Scarf Day.
ON August 4, Kamalinee Primary School proudly celebrated International Scout Scarf Day and heard stories about scouting experiences from a young Amanzimtoti Meerkat Scout, Kiaan Koeries.

The Grade One learner shared his exciting scouting experiences with his classmates, telling them about the fun activities scouts enjoy, including camping, scavenger hunts, campfires, and earning badges.
He also spoke about a memorable visit to the fire station, where scouts had the opportunity to meet firefighters, and even try on a firefighter’s helmet.
“It was a wonderful opportunity for our learners to learn more about the values of teamwork, leadership, service, and adventure that scouting promotes. We are proud of you for representing your scout group and inspiring your fellow learners at Kamalinee Primary School,” said the school’s principal, Kamalpersad Singh.
