Join Scottburgh rugby old boys
Official practises will begin on Tuesday, 21 January at 5.30pm.
SCOTTBURGH Old Boys wish all their sponsors and supporters a joyful and prosperous 2014.
Having been accepted to play in the Durban Rugby Union (DSRU) on the condition that they field a side in the Southern KZN Rugby Sub Union (SKZNRSU), the old boys are now searching for new players.
Official practises will begin on Tuesday, 21 January at 5.30pm. Many players have been playing touch at the club on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons and anyone interested in playing rugby this season should join these players this Thursday, 16 January.
The club has been invited to take part in the East Griqualand Tens Tournament at Kokstad on Saturday, 1 March. The South Coast Sevens tournament at Port Shepstone on Saturday, 8 February. If all works accordingly to plan, this season will be the first since the late 1990s that Scottburgh will be fielding a second league side.
