Stroke of support from Midmar swimmers

Four young men, Brad du Preez, Roan van der Westhuizen, Dillan Drew and Warren Keightley are putting all their effort and energy into swimming the Midmar Mile as a fundraiser for Khanya Hospice on Saturday, 8 February.

However, to be able to donate a substantial amount to the charity of their choice, they will also host a golf day at Umdoni Golf Club on Sunday, 26 January.

“These guys are so excited, vibrant and energetic and they urge golfers to support this day,” said Khanya Hospice CEO, Neil McDonald.

“They are still looking for prizes for the golf day. These young men have issued an early challenge to other youngsters and the older generation as well, to come and support the golf day and also to join them in swimming the Midmar Mile in aid of Khanya Hospice.”

Dillan can be contacted on 082-529-3551.
