Gary lands a whopper shad

BUCCANEERS Fishing Club’s weigh-in on 9 February saw a total of 17 members fishing.
Inedibles caught were by Kevin with a brown skate of 2,2kg, Bernard landed two brown skates, one of 2,3kg and another of 4kg, and Brian caught two black tip reef sharks, one of 3,99kg and another of 5,93kg which was the heaviest and thus won him the inedible prize for the day.
On the edible side Gary landed a beaut of a shad, weighing a whopping 5,1kg. Well done.
The next competition takes place on the weekend of 22 and 23 February.
A reminder that a special general meeting is to be held after the next weigh-in on 23 February.
