Gymnasts flex their muscles at coastal compo
They earned a number of medals between them.
MEMBERS of Fusion Rhythmic Gymnastics Club of Toti scooped a number of medals at the SA Gymnastics Federation coastal competition on Saturday, 31 May.
Keira Hall achieved bronze and Megan O’ Connor won gold in the level 2 U8 category.
Tanya Nieuwoudt and Bianca van Oudtshoorn won silver and gold in the level 2 U10 age group. Fellow team mate, Danielle Rossouw won gold in the level 2 U11 category, while Ianesca Esterhuizen achieved a silver medal in the level 3 U9 category.
In the level 4, U13 category, Cindy Erasmus was in the top three with a bronze medal.
In the older age groups, Amarah Hoosain won a silver medal in the level 5 O15 category. Kelly Lightfoot walked away with silver in the level 6 U15 age group. In the level 6 O15 category, Zas Mkhize won gold.
The girls are working hard in preparation for a regional competition at the end of August.
