Monster shad caught off Toti Beach

Jan Smit caught this monster 4.5kg shad on Wednesday, 10 December 2014 on the Toti beach area.
Used a 9″ (foot) rod spinning rod with 15 lb line.
Spoon was a 50g Iron Candy
Fight was about 10min on the light tackle
