New Mambas set Wartburg race trails ablaze

On Saturday, 7 March, Bushlife adventures will be holding their next outride at Rocky Bay.

AMANZIMTOTI Cycling Club’s Mambas C group hit the trails of Wartburg on Saturday morning with much enthusiasm.

As it was some of the riders’ first mountain bike race, there was much excitement and anticipation for this race.

The results were good and the club is very proud of their new riders. The gazebo was set up at the race venue so the riders had an object to zone in on at the finish. Big thanks to the people who organised the club trailer and gazebo to go up to the race.

The weather on Sunday morning was perfect for the Toti Roadies and Mambas to meet up on the shores of Rocky Bay for a nice, relaxed Sunday morning amble on their bikes. The mountain bikers set off on the trails while the road bikes headed South on the tar to do a bit of pedalling on unfamiliar roads. They all converged on Casa Ballena Restaurant afterwards to enjoy scrumptious breakfast buns that were bought for them by the club, while enjoying the beautiful sea views.

On Saturday, 7 March, Bushlife Adventures will hold its next outride at Rocky Bay. Ricky Hulley promises a very exciting route for the ride.
