Toti rugby supporters will have loads to cheer about this weekend when the club rugby day kicks off at Toti Rugby Club on Saturday, 9 May.
The club implores all rugby fanatics to get down to the grounds to cheer on the local players.
The action gets underway with Jaguars versus South Coast Warriors at 12.30pm, followed by Pietermaritzburg Collegians taking on Varsity College at 2pm, then Durban Collegians up against Impis at 3.30pm, before the main game of the day gets underway, Toti against the mighty College Rovers at 5pm.
“There will be jumping castles for the kiddies and it also looks like the Crusaders versus Empangeni Rhinos match may be added to the list,” said club chairman, Cliff Uppink.
Amanzimtoti first team coach, Jeff Harper is feeling bullish about his team’s chances. “It should be a pretty good contest. We have a good forward pack this year, and I think this is something they are lacking. Our preparations have been good and I’m looking forward to it.”
Toti have played three Premier League matches to date this season. With one draw, one lost and one win, let’s hope this Saturday is the start of a winning streak.
