500th Amanzimtoti parkrun celebrated

Amanzimtoti parkrun's co-director, John Niewoudt, said the turnout was amazing, with 302 parkrunners participating.

THE Amanzimtoti parkrun recently celebrated its 500th event, with some notable milestones achieved by runners as well.

Colin Sydney celebrated his 250th parkrun, his 200th in Amanzimtoti. He also volunteered on the day for the 25th time. Pieter De Bruin volunteered for the 300th time, while Gerald Winkel and Johan Ludewyk did their 200th parkrun. Hans Combrink also participated in his 150th.
