All six teams including Rangers, Warriors, Rhinos, Vipers, Barracudas and Panthers took to the Astroturf on finals night in a sudden death, knock-out format.

Wade Botha, the school’s departmental head of sports and marketing, said that teams went into finals night seeded based on where they finished in the rankings after five weeks of intense and exciting matches.

“The Vipers won the first two games of the evening, discarding of the Panthers in sixth place and the Barracudas in fifth place. In match three, the Rangers stepped onto the turf and put an end to what was looking like a dream run for the Vipers who finished in fourth place, two places higher than their initial ranking,” said Botha.

After a close fought game, the Rangers overcame the Rhinos in the semi-final to take on the formidable Warriors in the grand finals.

He said the Rangers went into overdrive and claimed the win in convincing form, to be named the 2025 Warners Super Sixes Champions. They fought their way from fourth place on the log to series champions after three back-to-back clashes.
