This is Kuswag’s eighth sports week. Organiser and head of sport, Ben Coetzee, said that this year’s edition kicked off with a bang, with a lively welcome by Kuswag’s cheerleaders.

“The sportsmanship on display has been nothing short of remarkable. Our aim with sport week is to help promote a love for sport, the opportunity to go on tour for it and meet new friends, and for our teams to get their players warmed up for the upcoming seasons,” said Coetzee.

She added that schools are enjoying the chance to play against schools they haven’t competed against before.
“On behalf of Kuswag Skool, I would like to thank all the school principals and sport co-ordinators for sending their teams to be part of this amazing event,” said Coetzee.
