Hearts of Toti appeals for back-to-school items

The non-profit organisation needs help with stationery and school uniforms for children in need.

HEARTS of Toti will be handing out stationery and school uniforms to 55 children in need on January 10 and appeals to the community for donations.

Co-founder of the non-profit organisation (NPO), Alta Erasmus, said, “We need your help, please. If you have any second-hand school uniforms, shoes or school bags (especially for Kuswag Skool) as well as any high school textbooks, please consider donating to us.”

She added that they have a supplier that gives them a generous discount on buying school supplies, so financial contributions are also welcome.

The NPO’s biggest needs are A4 books, Flip Files, exam pads, reams of paper, pens, pencils, crayons, rulers, scissors, erasers, calculators, math sets and so forth.
