Use of big bangs in suburbs deplored

The law is very clear on the use of fireworks: No-one may use fireworks in a residential area.

The law is very clear on the use of fireworks: No-one may use fireworks in a residential area.

Fireworks may only be ignited 500 metres away from a residential area if one has a permit from Metro Police to do so. They also may not be ignited near where birds roost and wild animals dwell.
