New president takes helm at Merewent Rotary

The president encourages people to join the Rotary Club for the networking benefit

THE Durban Merewent Rotary Club excitedly welcomed its newly inducted president in a ceremony on 20 July.
Anush Reddy was inducted and officially took the reigns from former president, Logs Naidoo.
As president, Reddy has a clear vision for the club which she hopes will make an impact in the community. “Together with my fellow Rotarians, my goal is to lead club project initiatives to make a difference in our community. For each project, develop a timeline, establish criteria for progress, consider resources and tools for support.

She confirmed that her position will motivate her to work harder, set objectives, identify and access community needs and support. “It has just made me look at things in a different angle and not only in one direction,” she added.
She encourages people to join the Rotary Club for the networking benefit. “We believe our goals are achievable and will be successful, by ensuring that our Rotarians enjoy their community work with plenty of fellowship,” she said.
Members of the Durban Merewent Rotary Club wish their new president well in her term and believe she will be an inspiration.
