Bakkie splits into three in M4 crash, 11 injured
Ten other people were injured in the collision.
Eleven people were injured in an horrific accident on the M4 South just before the Edwin Swales offramp just after 6am this morning (Thursday, 18 October).

It was absolute carnage when a bakkie and taxi collided. “Before the collision, the bakkie veered out of control, collided with a barrier and split into three.
The bakkie driver was entrapped and sustained serious injuries. He was stabilised on scene by paramedics,” said Rescue Care’s Garrith Jameison.
He was cut free from the wreckage by the Durban Fire Department using the jaws of life.
Ten other people were injured in the collision.
Events leading up to the collision will be investigated by the SAPS, who attended the crash scene.
