Woodlands noise pollution irks resident

We need to fight as residents and restore peace in our neighbourhood.

EDITOR – Residents in Woodlands are affected by noise coming from Leicester Road, namely Halifax Road, Bathurst and Fairbridge roads.

I find this noise very disturbing, especially at night. We live with this noise 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

I have reported this to the department of environmental affairs for their intervention.

I want to let other residents know we have laws to protect us against such. We need to fight as residents and restore peace in our neighbourhood. This is not healthy for us and something must be done about it.

I am sure I’m not the only one affected by this. We need to fight this as residents.
