Ratepayers team takes the lead in Yellowwood Park
The next meeting of the ratepayers association will be held at the Yellowwood Park Civic Centre on Monday, 3 December.
THE annual AGM of the Yellowwood Park Ratepayers Association was held at the Civic Centre on Monday, 5 November.
The chairman thanked all those ratepayers present at the meeting and hoped that more ratepayers in the area would attend the meetings, which are held on the first Monday of each month at 6.30pm.
Apologies were read out before the election of the committee members. Marsha Hart agreed to remain as secretary and was thanked for her continued assistance. Ann Barbosa was elected as vice chairman and Kevin Matthews the safety and security portfolio. Adoption and signing of the previous minutes and then the chairman’s report and the ward councillor’s report were read. A number of items were mentioned under general, to which the chairman and councillor replied.
The meeting closed at 8pm. The next meeting of the ratepayers association will be held at the Yellowwood Park Civic Centre on Monday, 3 December.
