Youngster aims for the stars
Ten-year-old Lethuxolo Ntuli hope to play for Paris Saint-Germain FC one day.
IF THE subject is not about soccer, then 10-year-old soccer player, Lethuxolo Ntuli, has no interest in it.
The Clairwood Boys’ Primary School learner eats, sleeps and dreams of the game. He aspires to legendary greatness and dreams of playing major league football one day.
As a defender for the Montclair-based Prof United FC, he believes he is putting in the necessary work to get there.
“I would like to be a soccer star one day. Soccer can get me very far in life. I want to see myself playing for Paris Saint-Germain FC. This is because Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, plays for this team and he is my role model,” he said.

His love for the game started when he was five-years-old. He would cry to his parents for a soccer ball whenever they would be at a supermarket.
His parents then decided to enrol him in a soccer programme. If he is not training, he is being a loving brother to his four sisters.
“I have a big family, I have two mums and two dads. I live with my biological mother and stepdad. But, I usually visit my biological dad with my step mum,” he said.
Although the hard lockdown placed a damper on his playing, he is grateful to be back on the field doing what he loves most. “I can’t wait to be a soccer star,” he exclaimed.
