Engelbrecht helped lift some important burdens from pet owners in the community regarding vaccinations and deworming of their pets.

“We had free rabies vaccines for dogs and cats, we administered the 5-in-1 vaccine for dogs, the 3-in-1 vaccine for cats, and deworming treatments. The goal was to assist the community by providing these essential services and raising awareness about how severe rabies can be,” said Engelbrecht.

She said the response among residents to the drive was simply amazing. The event tackled one of the crucial health concerns among pets while enlightening owners of pets regarding rabies and the care which can be taken in advance.
