“The data reflects the positive outcomes of additional deployments and multidisciplinary operations. The inclusion of overtime allocations has played a significant role in achieving these results. The intensified operations have led to a marked decrease in crime overall. Notably, there has been a significant reduction in the circulation of firearms and drugs within the community,” said Samaai.
He added that they hope that the community will respond positively to the call for cooperation by reporting criminal activities.
“Active community participation remains vital to sustaining these improvements. This report underscores the collective efforts of law enforcement leadership and the community in enhancing safety and security within the Wentworth precinct,” he said.
