Manhunt launched for two suspects in Montclair tavern murder

The victim was resting at the tavern on Leicester Road when two unknown men entered the premises and shot him in the face.

POLICE in Montclair have launched a manhunt for two suspects who killed Stanley Lindokuhle Dladla (49) at a tavern on July 26.

According to the police, Dladla was resting after playing pool at the tavern on Leicester Road when two unknown men entered the premises and shot him in the face.

Police spokesperson in Montclair, Constable Norah Ndlovu, said the suspects fled the scene in an unidentified getaway vehicle.

“The deceased sustained multiple gun shot wounds to his face. Emergency services were called at the scene and his body was transported to Pinetown mortuary,” said Ndlovu.

Ndlovu said the police found eight used cartridges at the scene.

“The police have launched an investigation. No arrests have been made at this stage, the suspects are still at large,” Ndlovu added.
