UPDATE: Bluff school gunman due in court
The suspect is facing three charges, which include being in possession of a dangerous weapon, intimidation and common assault.
THE ARMED man who entered Grosvenor Boys High School and intimidated learners and a teacher on Monday is due to appear in court, today.
Brighton Beach police spokesperson Captain Louise le Roux said, “Footage circulating on social media of an adult person entering a classroom and displaying an object representing a firearm was received by Brighton Beach police on August 29. They promptly responded and conducted a search, which led to the arrest of the suspect. When he was arrested, he was found to be in possession of a gas pistol.”

A source close to the investigation revealed that as the perpetrator tried to intimidate the learners, the teacher approached him at the entrance of the classroom, and he blew marijuana into the teacher’s face.
