Electricity expected to be restored in Ward 64 today

Technicians are currently working on repairing the cable.

THERE may be some relief for residents from parts of Montclair who have been left without electricity due to cable theft at a substation on September 5.
Gavin Hegter, the Ward 64 councillor, said the electricity supply was expected to be restored by the end of today.
“I have been informed that technicians repaired the cable last night, September 8, but as they turned the supply on, the cable popped in another place. However, they are currently working on it,” he said.
