Chinatown Crime Watch acknowledges service providers

The Chinatown Crime Watch group acknowledged some of the stakeholders who have worked tirelessly to curb crime in the community.

THE Merebank Chinatown Crime Watch has rewarded key service providers for their outstanding efforts in preventing crime in the community. Appreciation certificates were recently given to organisations and individuals for their commitment to the safety and security of the Merebank Chinatown community.

Some of the recipients were Wentworth Police Station, PT Alarms, South African Ultimate Protection Services, Blue Security, and Alipore Road Primary School. In addition to receiving recognition, PT Alarms provided support to community safety initiatives by donating reflective jackets and torches to the Chinatown Crime Watch to enhance visibility and preparedness for crime prevention patrols.

Certificates were also awarded to the managers of the Chinatown Crime Watch for their unwavering dedication and selfless service in combating crime. They have worked tirelessly towards a safer environment for residents.

Gabriel Moodley, chairperson of the Chinatown Crime Watch, expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their active involvement in keeping the community safe.
